CJ is one of the top two teams (they keep hopping between #1 and #2) in the league, sporting what I think is the strongest starting lineup around.
Samsung, however, is the defending champion team from last year, with Stork and FireBatHero composing the bulk of their lineup.
For the first game, FireBatHero vs Savior, Diggity and I did a very special dual commentary. Youtube kept screwing up so I had to put it on googlevideo.
FBH vs Savior
Game two features Stork vs Much… Stork being the best PvP in the world, but… Stork took a big confidence hit from the OSL Finals and didn’t play well against Kal last week. Much has been playing really well lately, winning OSC and dominating Proleague.
Part 1, Part 2
Another proleague match between two heavy hitters. Not quite as spectacular as Hwasin vs Savior, but entertaining.
Merry Christmas… or… Merry non-Christmas.
I also recommend watching the rest of the games from both matches last night. All of WeMade vs OGN was great as was all of Hanbit vs Lecaf. As of the moment I am writing this, Baezzi doesn’t have the rest of the first match up, but here are the first three games of Hanbit vs Lecaf if you want to watch them uncommentated…
Child vs Anytime - I consider Anytime the third best Protoss in the world. Child is pretty suck, but has come up with some surprise wins, including against Bisu several months ago, so who knows.
free vs Jaedong - Free is the third best Protoss vs Zerg player in the game, statistically speaking. Though I consider him a few spots lower as an overal protoss player. Jaedong has a low statistical ZvP….. but he just wiped the floor with Stork, one of the best Protoss players.
2v2 - To help you get your bearings, the teams are basically the diagonals. As in, if you drew and X in the middle of the map, each line would be pointing at both members of one team. This game was spectacular.
Wow, this was a really great game. Just what you’d expect from two big name grade A players.
Also, battle of the power colors! Stork used purple to defeat Bisu… Jaedong used Red to defeat Stork.. In this game, Hwasin is Red and Savior is Purple! Which color is greater!?!
An up and coming zerg versus an up and coming terran.
I don’t recall if I mention in my commentary that Sheis is an older player, but it turns out he’s fairly new on the scene, actually.
Haran vs Sheis: Part 1, Part 2
What do Flower, Justin, Cool, and Sangho have in common? A: They all suck. B: Somehow, they’re all incredibly good at 2v2. This is a showdown between 2v2 proleague teams with the best record right now.
NsP_Flower/Justin vs Cool[fou]/Sangho: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
A couple games from Air Force vs Lecaf..
Game 1
Boxer vs Hiya: Part 1, Part 2
Game 4
